The role
Working alongside the Regional IT Team, you will provide day-to-day assistance and troubleshooting for end users and oversee all IT hardware, IT infrastructure and Applications to support smooth business operations in accordance with cybersecurity and company policies, local data privacy and protection laws. You will also play a key role in managing regional and central-driven initiatives in line with Clarins’ strategic roadmap.
What you’ll do
1. Desktop & End-User Support (Core Focus)
- Troubleshoot hardware, network (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN), and printer issues for staff (office & stores)
- Support Basic software installations and updates on Windows, macOS, and Android/iOS devices
- Local application support: Clienteling, BI/Reporting, Automation/AI
2. Hardware & Infrastructure
- Track devices, issue replacements, manage inventory & backups
- Device imaging & configuration
- Secure server room physical/climate conditions
3. Regional Coordination, Security & Compliance
- Local liaison to regional/central IT; remote support for other APAC markets
- Escalate tickets via Landesk/Jira within SLAs
- Understand store IT operations landscape
- Ensure antivirus, patching, encryption comply with local privacy laws
- Enforce IT policies; educate users on cybersecurity
4. Vendor, Budget & Procurement
- Manage local vendors/MSPs
- Negotiate procurement within budget
- Track IT opex and asset refresh cycles
5. Project Delivery & Strategic Alignment
- Roll out regional initiatives locally tracking timelines/risks/adoption
- Lead UAT/pilot testing at Taiwan HQ
- Align local vendors and tools with corporate standards
- Relay local needs (latency, satisfaction, gaps) to regional/global teams
What you have
- At least 5 years’ experience in IT support, including hardware/software management, device imaging & configuration, and inventory monitoring
- Advanced end-user troubleshooting on Windows & iOS (laptops and mobile), with strong customer focus
- Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
- Experience deploying infrastructure technologies (Windows Server, LAN/WAN) and using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira)
- Excellent English communication skills and stakeholder management (end users, regional/central IT, vendors)
- ITIL/COBIT and BI & Reporting experience will be a plus
