The HR Business Partner will deliver full-function HR support across Australia and New Zealand, partnering with leaders to drive performance, engagement and organisational culture. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role acts as a trusted advisor on all people matters, from talent acquisition and development to employee relations, compliance and HR projects.
The key responsibilities are:
- HR Advisory & Support: Partner with leaders on workforce planning, performance management, remuneration, benefits, and employee relations matters.
- Recruitment & Talent Management: Drive end-to-end recruitment alongside our HR Coordinator and coach managers on hiring best practice.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Support employee engagement surveys, deliver action plans, and actively contribute to DEI and Health & Safety committees.
- Learning & Development: Conduct training needs analysis, develop programs, and facilitate sessions on topics like performance management and workplace conduct.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage investigations, probation reviews, exit interviews and ensure compliance with legislation and policy updates.
- HR Reporting & Administration: Provide meaningful HR data and insights to inform decision-making and support the HR Director with budgeting and reporting.
- Workplace Health & Safety: Oversee workers’ compensation, insurance policies, and drive WHS improvements across ANZ.
About you:
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role (FMCG, Retail or Hospitality experience highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation & WHS compliance
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise and work autonomously under minimal supervision
- High integrity, maturity and a people-focused approach
- Leadership capability to mentor and develop HR team members
