Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a Product Manager - Travel Retail Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

THE ROLE:

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

PRODUCT LINES MANAGEMENT: 


360 FUNCTIONS

  • Communicate effectively with TR Global and Regional Marketing Department to receive the relevant product launch information while aligning product & trade marketing objectives and strategy / calendar with TR Senior Product Manager (SPM) prior to roll-out and ultimately translating global objectives into a concrete Travel Retail plan
  • From the strategy elaborated with the SPM, forecast with the validation of the Associate Marketing Director (AMD) and General Manager for all product launches, samples and Travel Retail sets
  • Define, develop, execute and implement 360 marketing & trade campaigns with a focus on travellers to achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives defined with the SPM, taking into account consumer insights/profile, competition, sales performance, budget constraints, retailers’ specificities. Brief includes Forecasting, Visual Merchandising (VM), Training, Communications, Digital content etc.
  • Brief and collaborate with the Digital team to ensure digital touch points are well integrated within the consumer journey, drive innovation and business growth
  • Provide Area Managers and retailers with marketing information and 360 plan related to product launch (product information, POP, pricing, airlines listings, leaflets, etc.)
  • Plan and order sampling / trial size / for trade marketing and sales promotion usage
  • Work closely with Regional and local communication teams to receive accurate information - copy, visuals, translations 
  • Carefully monitor performance of all campaign activities, and prepare a post-campaign report with analysis and results for future improvement 
  • Support SPM in planning year-long trade activities with key retailers and assist in the execution

 

TRAVEL EXCLUSIVE SETS MANAGEMENT

  • Optimize TR set catalogue in APAC (field survey, assortment relevance, cannibalization and profitability risk) in collaboration with regional and global integrators, commercial team and beauty consultants to provide new insights in a bi-yearly manner
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitor’s activities to identify new opportunities
  • Monitor closely the sell-in/out to ensure forecast accuracy
  • Prepare and present annual TREX analysis

 

GIFTS WITH PURCHASE (GWP) MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and maintain the GWP plan for the year, adjusting as needed based on market conditions to achieve high inventory quality
  • Create a comprehensive GWP plan for the upcoming year, considering the latest developments
  • Propose GWP for bespoke, ad-hoc, and trade campaigns

 

FORECASTING & SALES ANALYSIS

  • Collaborate closely with the SPM and Supply Chain department on sales forecasting
  • Coordinate with the VM team on materials forecasting
  • Actively assist the SPM in managing the product assortment. (i.e. sales potential, A/B/C/D classification analysis, local market reference specificities, profitability, MOQ)
  • Provide relevant monthly reports on Sell-In/Sell-Out figures and actively assist with analysis

 

MARKETING GL ACCOUNTS BUDGETING

  • Assist the SPM and AMD in managing various marketing expenses within the allocated budget, including promotional activities, displays/merchandising, and literature

 

OTHERS:

  • Contribute to regular competitive intelligence (new product development, pricing, animation, best practice, digital etc.)
  • Additional responsibilities consistent with the title of Product Manager - Travel Retail Asia Pacific may be assigned

 

YOU HAVE:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business / Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in marketing related functions, preferably in the beauty / cosmetic / skincare industry
  • Experience in Product Management and Business Analysis and Operational expertise
  • Passionate about the beauty and cosmetics business 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills , handling data and numbers
  • Positive attitude and growth mindset, versatile and adaptable to changes
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Mandarin, and ability to work across multiple markets and cultures
  • Multi-tasking, organized, reliable and responsible, able to take ownership on the quality and timeline of all tasks and deliverables 
  • Highly adaptable and flexible to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and changes 
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to details
