About the Job
The Marketing Product Coordinator is critical in supporting the execution of product launches and maintaining disciplined marketing operations, directly influencing the company’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives.
Reporting to the Travel Retail Asia Pacific Senior Product Manager, the Travel Retail Asia Pacific Product Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role for Product Marketing Team and is responsible for (1) supporting the implementation of strategic campaign launch and tactical marketing activities (2) assisting in sales data extraction and consolidation to facilitate the decision-making process for forecasting and sales analysis and (3) all administrative marketing operations i.e. expenses tracking and follow-up, catalogue management, pricing management, events and seminar preparations, etc.
Mission 1: Launch / Trade Marketing Support
- Partner closely with Global and Regional Travel Retail Marketing teams to gather product launch information and align marketing strategies, calendars, and priorities with the TR Senior Product Manager. Translate global objectives into clear, actionable Travel Retail plans
- Develop and deliver end-to-end (360°) marketing and trade campaigns for Anti-Ageing and Basic Care, targeting travellers to drive both brand impact and commercial results. Scope includes forecasting, visual merchandising, training, communications, and digital content.
- Equip Area Managers and retail partners with clear marketing toolkits and 360° launch plans to ensure strong and consistent execution across markets
- Support campaign rollouts with hands-on involvement in out-of-home media delivery, event and activation coordination, and creation of point-of-sale materials
- Track and evaluate campaign performance, and prepare post-campaign reports with insights and recommendations to continuously improve future launches
Mission 2: Forecasting / Sales Analysis / Catalogue Management
- Manage the product assortment in close collaboration with the Product Marketing team, considering sales potential, product mix (A/B/C/D analysis), local market needs, profitability, and supply constraints
- Analyse internal sales performance and consolidate market insights (e.g. Beauté Research) to assess growth potential of new launches and support accurate forecasting for the order book
- Partner with Product Marketing and Supply Chain teams to forecast key product franchises, ensuring strong forecast accuracy and healthy inventory levels
- Provide relevant reporting on Sell-In/Sell-Out figures on monthly basis and actively help on analysis
Mission 3: Administrative Support
- Responsible for raising PO/PR for marketing expenses and invoice submission
- Assist to record and track all marketing expenses
- Create codes for all TR exclusive sets and point-of-sales materials in a timely manner
- Coordinate and manage the kitting process to support on-time campaign roll-out
- Provide support to the team for all the presentations and event organizations whenever required
Mission 4: Competitive Intelligence
Build and maintain a monthly competitive intelligence (new product development, pricing, 360 trade activation, animation, best practice etc...)
About you:
Education/Degree or equivalent:
- University graduate in Business/Marketing discipline or any other relevant field
Background including total years of experience:
Open to fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in consumer, retail, or marketing environments
Interest in beauty, retail, travel retail, or consumer brands is preferred
Soft and Leadership Skills:
- A keen learner who displays high level of energy and positivity
- A good team player with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work across multiple markets and cultures
- Highly reliable, takes ownership on the quality and timeline of all tasks and deliverables
- Highly adaptable and flexible to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and changes
- Strong organizational skills, with strong attention to details
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly data-savvy, with the ability to extract, consolidate, and interpret data
