We are looking for a Manager eCommerce, APAC, based in Singapore.  

 

Drive Regional eCommerce & Marketplace Growth

Lead the execution of APAC eCommerce and marketplace growth strategy to accelerate topline performance, expand channel footprint, and drive sustainable profitability while preserving a premium brand experience.

  • Implement regional eCommerce and marketplace strategies across APAC, including platform prioritization, go-to-market approach, expansion roadmap, and growth acceleration plans.
  • Support markets in building strategic and operational business cases for new marketplace and eRetail door openings in line with global guidelines, include but not limited key regional presence platforms including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and key local eRetail partners (Rakuten, Naver, LINE…).
  • Monitor P&L and drive sustainable sales and profitability growth across marketplace channels through effective commercial and operational governance.
  • Establish regional best practices across assortment strategy, pricing governance, promotional strategy, customer experience, and operational standards.
  • Partner with local teams and agencies to optimize marketplace fundamentals including flagship store experience, assortment, search visibility, ratings & reviews, and conversion performance.
  • Lead regional marketplace and retail media strategy across platform ads, search, affiliate, display, livestream, and social commerce ecosystems.
  • Build strong partnerships with key platform partners and regional account teams to unlock visibility, innovation, and commercial growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all marketplace growth initiatives and commercial strategies remain aligned with premium brand positioning and regional guidelines.

 

Lead Marketplace Analytics & Digital Commerce Excellence

Drive a data-led commerce culture through strong analytics capabilities, actionable insights, and performance optimization frameworks.

  • Define and standardize regional marketplace KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance benchmarks across APAC markets.
  • Monitor and analyze key business metrics including GMV, traffic, conversion, ROAS, customer acquisition, retention, profitability, and share of search.
  • Analyze business performance, competitive landscape, and platform trends to identify growth opportunities and improvement areas.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize commercial and operational performance across markets.
  • Partner with global and cross-functional teams on CRM, data, and MarTech initiatives to strengthen digital commerce capabilities and performance tracking.
  • Support markets in leveraging global technology solutions to automate product and data flows, and integrate data into group systems where applicable.

 

Lead Regional Commercial Planning & Marketplace Activation

Drive regional commercial excellence through coordinated campaign planning, marketplace activation, and premium content execution across key commerce moments.

  • Partner with local teams to develop annual marketplace commercial calendars and activation plans aligned with regional priorities and platform opportunities.
  • Guide markets on key marketplace activations including 9.9, 11.11, 12.12, Super Brand Days, mega campaigns, and livestream commerce initiatives to scale business opportunities
  • Provide strategic direction on promotional mechanics, hero SKU strategy, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Elevate marketplace content and brand storytelling to ensure premium, locally relevant, and high-performing customer experiences.
  • Ensure marketplace campaigns and activations balance commercial performance with brand equity and regional guidelines.
  • Facilitate cross-market sharing of campaign best practices, innovations, and learnings to continuously elevate execution excellence across APAC. 

 

Capability Building, Stakeholder Management & Regional Synergy

Act as the regional center of excellence for marketplaces and digital commerce, strengthening capabilities, collaboration, and innovation across APAC.

  • Build and lead a strong regional marketplace and eRetail community through regular training, workshops, and best practice sharing.
  • Upskill local teams and distributors on marketplace strategy, platform capabilities, content excellence, retail media, and digital commerce best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, CRM, CX, digital, and global teams to ensure alignment with broader business priorities and customer strategies.
  • Coordinate with global digital teams and platform partners (e.g. TikTok Shop, Amazon) to drive regional synergies and scalable initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of marketplace, beauty, consumer, and digital commerce trends to continuously evolve regional strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of AI and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, commerce integration, and customer experience.

About You:

  • 7 years + proven experience in regional eCommerce and marketplace management within beauty, luxury, FMCG, or consumer brands in APAC
  • Strong hands on expertise across APAC marketplace ecosystems including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and key local eRetail partners (especially in China, JP, KR, TW…)
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce acceleration levers including retail media, platform operations, content, CRM, and analytics.
  • Experience working within regional and multi-market organizations.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and business presentation skills
  • Passion for beauty, digital innovation, and consumer experience.
