We are looking for an Inventory and Distribution planner, Asia Pacific to be based in Singapore.
About the Job
The Regional Inventory Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels across APAC markets.
This role ensures supply availability while minimizing excess stock, providing timely support to subsidiaries as needed. The planner analyzes inventory data and coordinates with cross-functional teams, and implements inventory strategies tailored to the diverse needs of each market..
Inventory Management
- Manage and balance stock levels to meet market demand while minimizing overstock and excess inventory costs.
- Analyze inventory data and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities, and proactively adjust inventory plans.
- Perform daily inventory-related tasks, including cycle counts, inbound management, monitoring stock health, returns, transfers, adjustments, lost or damaged stock, and other operational activities.
- Develop and execute inventory strategies suited to the diverse APAC markets, considering demand variability, regional regulations, and supply chain complexities.
- Track key inventory KPIs, identify issues, and report actionable insights to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives.
- Support product launches, promotions, and ad-hoc requests to ensure supply readiness
- Support process improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance demand and supply planning efficiency.

About you:
Education/Degree or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree or combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute.
Background including total years of experience:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
- In-depth understanding of Inventory and supply planning.
Soft and Leadership Skills
- Rigorous, structured, and detail-oriented in problem-solving.
- Able to translate analysis into strategic recommendations and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Quick to adapt to new concepts, systems, and tools.
- Strong at fostering cooperation and teamwork across functions.
- Proactive in follow-up, ensuring timely completion of tasks and addressing gaps.
- Clear and effective communicator with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Skilled in anticipating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing practical solutions.
- Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships to drive alignment and business efficiency.
Technical Skills
- Sensitivity to customers’ and business needs in cosmetics, FMCG, or similar industries.
- A good command of the Supply Chain planning, and stock management processes (sales forecast, needs calculation and planning, stock policy and management)
- Master MSOffice (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Master informatics ERP tools (SAP, M3).
- Knowledge of main mathematical algorithm used in sales forecasts and KPIs.
