We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Retail Analysis, based in Singapore.
The Assistant Manager - Retail Analysis plays an important role in the team by supporting the business through identification of risks and opportunities, defining and developing clear action plans to achieve business goals and KPIs. The role requires close collaboration with various functions; Retail Sales and Operations, Marketing and Business Controller to bring Clarins brand to new heights, build brand visibility. The Assistant Manager - Retail Analysis is the brand advocate in SG through:
- Accountability in Sell In and Sell Through KPIs
- Timely identification and clearly defined action plan to address all business risks and opportunities
- Driving revenue, and maximising all resources to ensure that topline and bottomline KPIs are achieved
- Data Analysis & Reporting : (60%)

- Daily, Weekly & Monthly sales report updates (Sell in and Sell Through, Product, Spa Performance & Retail KPIs).
- Analyse sales promotion effectiveness, campaign performance, productivity levels, and retail KPIs, translating insights into actionable levers to improve overall performance.
- Forecasting & Budgeting : (20%)

- Support Sales & Operations Director and Business Controller on annual budgeting for all offline channel sales and bi-annual reforecast cycles including sales phasing.
- Deliver monthly channel-level forecast Sales Performance to Business Controller with key explanations.
- Analyse and forecast retail frontliner costs efficiency.
- Market Research : (10%)

- Monitor retail landscape evolution, identifying upcoming challenges and opportunities to tap on.
- Analyse competitor behaviour and current market trends to drive business insights.
- Quarterly review for product category via Beaute Research report to identify areas of opportunities for market share growth.
- Inventory & Demand Optimisation (10%)
- Support Retail Planning team with analysis of past historical trends to optimise inventory level and inventory turnover to improve commercial productivity.
You Have:
Education/Degree:
- Minimum Degree
Background including total years of experience
- Min 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Industry: experience in retail industry, with Beauty experience as an advantage.
Technical skills:
- Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
- Systems as required
Soft and Leadership Skills:
- Strong analytical and business acumen skills.
- Good organisation skills and attention to details.
- Team player; able to work with all levels of staff.
- Highly dependable person with ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities meeting required deadlines.
