Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a Area Manager South-East Asia, Travel Retail Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

THE ROLE:

 

Responsible for building and execution of all strategies for Southeast Asia region

  • Guarantor of adherence to Clarins brand values and image are well respected at all levels; Key player while supported by the field team to timely execute all set strategies for the region  
  • Together with TRCD, responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnership with retail partners to achieve long term performance success
  • Ensure the most disruptive and creative ways of trade animations, both digitally and in physical stores, that drives Brand awareness, build strong customer base
  • Timely communicating market needs in the region of Southeast Asia, in a effective manner to facilitated accuracy in forecast needs, thus helping to ensure a steady supply of stocks to sustain and fuel the growth ambition set for the region 

 

Management of P&L set for the region  

  • Working closely with TRCD to construct yearly top line budget as well as all necessary productive expenses needs to fuel the ambitions
  • On-going communication flow (budget tracking) to ensure any expense are spent in a transparent, collaborative, and productive manner
  • Ensuring a proactive communication with TRCD to maintain an on-going capacity to define risk and opportunity exposure

 
Responsible for building an agile organisation, allowing evolution with time and needs

  • Responsible for a team in the region covering all commercial, marketing, VM, regulatory affairs responsibilities, driving them to achieve best in class executions of strategies in their respective region
  • Expected to groom team members beyond their scope of responsibilities, motivating and stimulating them to elevate their understanding and curiosity while gauging their development potential
  • Responsible for motivation and development of retailers’ branded field team  

 

Responsible for constructions of Training strategies 

  • Works in close collaboration with his/her geographic training team to ensuring proper training content is delivered to the right population and on a regular schedule
     

Other responsibilities may be added to the above, which are consistent with the title Area Manager South-East Asia, Travel Retail Asia Pacific.

 

YOU HAVE:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Travel Retail business, ideally in the Asia Pacific Region
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office software knowledge
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders from South-East Area Region with various expertise background and cultures
  • Independent minded with a sound understanding of regional role with multi-cultural scope
  • Capacity to multi-task while also diving into very detailed level, with strong analytical skills
  • Well rounded, engaged, and entrepreneurial mindset to address multi-faceted aspects of the business (sales, marketing, finance, merchandising, training, customer relation, large team’s animation).
  • A team player with excellent communication skills yet a caring leader inspiring across departments and exposing his / her team members to elevate and promote collective successes
  • Able to travel extensively for work
