The role:
As Digital Director – Korea, you will define and lead Clarins’ digital strategy across E-Commerce, E-Retail, CRM, and Digital Communications, driving both business growth and brand equity in one of the most advanced digital markets globally.
You will lead a team covering E-Commerce, E-Retail, CRM, and Digital, ensuring strong synergy across all digital touchpoints to deliver a seamless and elevated consumer experience.
What you’ll do:
Digital Strategy & Business Growth
- Define and lead the overall digital strategy (EC, E-Retail, CRM, Digital Media) to drive revenue growth and brand awareness
- Build and execute E-Commerce strategy and promotion plans aligned with business targets and marketing priorities
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Clarins’ competitiveness in the Korean digital ecosystem (e.g. Naver, Kakao, Coupang)
E-Commerce & E-Retail Leadership
- Drive performance of brand.com and key online platforms, ensuring strong sales growth and market share
- Lead E-Retail strategy and partnerships to maximise visibility and performance across marketplaces
- Ensure strong execution of product launches and commercial activations
Digital Communication & Media
- Define digital media strategies for launches and core products to maximise impact and engagement
- Oversee digital content and communication (SNS, campaigns, visuals) to strengthen brand positioning
- Drive performance marketing with a focus on ROI and customer acquisition
CRM & Omnichannel Engagement
- Lead CRM and customer engagement strategy across the full lifecycle (acquisition, retention, reactivation)
- Drive personalization and loyalty initiatives leveraging first-party data
- Ensure seamless integration across online and offline touchpoints (O2O, clientelling)
Performance Management & Governance
- Monitor and analyse digital performance across all channels (traffic, conversion, engagement, sales)
- Manage digital budgets, timelines, and quality of execution
- Provide regular reporting and insights to local and regional stakeholders
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital team
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Retail, and Supply Chain teams
- Partner with APAC and Global teams to align strategy while representing Korea market needs
What you have:
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in digital, e-commerce, or CRM, preferably in beauty, luxury, or consumer industries
- Proven track record in driving E-Commerce growth and digital transformation
- Strong understanding of the Korean digital ecosystem and consumer behaviour
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong expertise in E-Commerce, CRM, and digital marketing
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance brand building with commercial performance
Leadership & Communication
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organisation
- Fluent in Korean and English
