The role :
Permanent contract to be filled as soon as possible. Based in Paris 17th.
Clarins launched REBOOT in 2020, a global transformation program for operations and finance information processes and systems. The program aims to implement a new core model for all of the Group's subsidiaries to support our digital and omnichannel ambitions.
As part of the global REBOOT team, the Head of IT Finance oversees and coordinates overall activities within the finance scope (AR, AP, GL, Tax, Cost Accounting, Pricing, Invoicing, Integration, etc.), both on worldwide deployment activities and run activities (called Skills Center). Main tools to manage include Infor M3 and Workday, along with their integrations.
- Lead the IT finance solution within the deployment waves and the skills center activities.
- Staff and manage the internal and external resources of the IT Finance teams to ensure the RUN and BUILD projects.
- Promote best practices within the Reboot community (IT resources, users)
- Be the core-model guardian of finance solution.
- Communicate and report to management and stakeholders
What you’ll do :
Management of the Team to Deliver the Roadmap (RUN and BUILD)
- Staff, organize and lead the deployment skills, ensure teams are focused on the right priorities:
- Manage IT Business Partner Finance Reboot
- Co-manage integrators on deployment with IT Deployment Director
- Continue to develop the skills of the SKC IT Finance team:
- Ensure they are focused on the right priorities
- Promote cross-functionality and backup management
- Integrating, developing, and managing Clarins internal staff on a daily basis – role of people manager
Lead the IT Finance REBOOT Deployment
- Manage the deployment of the finance core model: M3 finance modules, satellite applications (EDI), ensure localization and identify local integrations to be implemented (Workday, State portal, Ecommerce,..)
- Work with the BPO to understand functional needs, estimate the complexity of all new features, and help find a solution based on the existing core model.
- Validate technical feasibility with partners and assess the workload.
- Ensure that the solution meets functional needs, write functional specifications with your team, and design the solution in line with the core model and IT strategy.
- Coordinate the build and tests phases with your team – don’t hesitate to be “hands-on” if you can
- Ensure quality of documentation for each step including training, and support to key users.
- Organize the implementation up to PROD and Go Live support
- Supervising project progress, estimating and tracking costs, planning tasks, managing risks, reporting alerts, and actively participating in steering committees
- Monitoring the domain budget with the IT Deployment Director and managing subcontracting actions
- Acting as a facilitator between stakeholders: integrators/IT and central/local business teams
- Reporting on progress to the project manager and program director
Manage the Support and Lifecycle of the Solution in Deployed Countries
- Ensure that we have a validated roadmap in accordance with the financial skills center: Estimate the complexity of all new features, suggest prioritization from an operational perspective.
- Assist in drafting a statement of needs and formalizing specifications, ensure business requirement is complete.
- Support the user community / Promote operational efficiency and support the run team
- Monitor, identify recurring issues, and establish action plans with the team
- Collaborate with the IT and technical partner for bug fixing and solutions building
- Coordinate tests & provide documentation, training and assistance to key users
- Develop the domain KPI to monitor activity and be able to communicate to stakeholders
- Finalize the implementation of a 100% effective AMS and its industrialization (KPI), then manage this team in a continuous improvement manner
- Finalize the skills development and empowerment for the SKC IT Finance run
Be the Core Finance Model Guardian & Drive Continuous Improvement
- Maintain up-to-date technical and functional knowledge within the scope
- Ensure the quality of the solution provided to users by keeping it simple, maintainable, and harmonized in processes and tools - as this is a core model deployment.
- Regular follow-up meetings with colleagues to stay informed of ongoing changes and developments; participation in steering committees for related projects, weekly meetings with the middleware and CAB teams; participation in Arco meetings, etc.
- With your in-depth knowledge of the core model, identify and implement technical or business improvements to systems
- Improve cross-functionality and alignment within the business team and other IT teams to deliver roadmaps; Also develop agility in a complex organization.
- Participate, help improve and engage the team around REBOOT management tools methodologies and implement action plans to resolve underlying issues.

You have :
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in IT Finance project & run management on ERP solutions (Infor M3, SAP, Workday, etc.) both in project and run:
- the life cycle of this type of project, as well as the roles and responsibilities typically represented
- expertise in finance processes
- ability to maintain and evolve the system in a worldwide core model logic
- Solid knowledge of finance domains: AR, AP, GL, Tax, Cost Accounting, Pricing, Invoicing
- Expertise in leading international ERP deployments and core model governance
- Experience in support models, continuous improvement, and IT methodologies (ITIL, CMMI...)
- Strong skills in writing functional specs and managing project lifecycles
- Good understanding of middleware integration tools (Datastage, CP4I…)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
