The role :

 

CDI to be filled as soon as possible

Based in Paris 17

 

As part of the IT Infrastructure, Cyber and Market (IT ICM) team of the group's Information Systems, the End User Computing & Security Tools Administrator is responsible for maintaining in operational condition:

 

  •  The tools managing the end-user computing environment (administration, supervision, software update, application, repository, etc.)
  •  The various elements of the end user computing (such as Laptop, Desktop, Smartphone, Operating systems, Global software layer), as well as workstation security (Antivirus, Endpoint Detection & Response, Web filtering, Mobile Device Management)
  • He/she contributes actively to the definition, implementation, and deployment of different standards in coordination with the technical project manager and local teams and security teams

What you’ll do :

 

Mission 1: Operational Management

 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise End-User Computing operations across all Clarins locations (offices, manufacturing, boutiques, and remote/home offices)
  • Manage and collaborate with strategic suppliers (e.g., Microsoft, Apple, Dell)
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships to leverage expertise and resources

Customer and IT Support:

  • Provide technical support and assist with hardware/software installations
  • Collaborate with IT team members and departments to ensure seamless IT service delivery
  • Supply necessary information for audit remediation
  • Act as the point of contact for internal clients concerning EUC-related issues
  • Work with CISO and Security Team to update and secure end-user devices
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues

Operational and Maintenance Activities:

  • Maintain end-user computing elements and services (devices, operating systems, software, patch management, licenses, mobile device management, printing solutions, asset management, security tools, etc.)
  • Manage Microsoft services (Active Directory, GPO, Azure AD, Intune, O365) for optimal security and performance
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and participate in new solution evaluations
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform regular reporting (e.g., SLA)
  • Manage licenses

Incident/Problem & Request Management:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in identifying root cause and minimizing downtime
  • Challenge suppliers for efficient IT service delivery
  • Manage level 2 and 3 incidents, review support trends, and implement improvements
  • Assist in disaster recovery and cyber attack planning/testing

Miscellaneous:

  • Travel occasionally to Clarins sites, mainly in France or Europe (approximately once a month)

 

Mission 2: Project Support & Coordination

 

  • Participate in technical projects, identifying needs, evaluating efforts, and contributing to task completion.
  • Manage and deliver infrastructure projects within timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee project lifecycle, from initiation to production, coordinating with global, regional, and internal teams.
  • Propose integration solutions for Clarins Infrastructure and Security.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions.
  • Supervise external service providers and follow internal project methodology.

 

Mission 3: Apply, Enforce & Control End-User Computing Policy & Standards

 

  • Ensure proper implementation and application of group-defined standards.
  • Document technical solutions and update documentation during development and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with CISO to enforce security policies.
  • Propose improvements to processes, standards, and services.

 

Mission 4: Activities Reporting

 

  • Report technical activities to the System and Networks Manager.
  • Regularly update status and progress related to End-User Computing to requesters, project managers, and stakeholders.

This position requires an occasionally work during off-hours for maintenance.

 

You are :

 

  • Effective in oral and written communication in English, capable of leading operational and project activities, and explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Collaborative and empowering, fostering a positive working environment and removing barriers
  • Customer-oriented with a strong understanding of business requirements, processes, and practices
  • Flexible and open-minded, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • A team player with international work experience, well-organized, and able to work under pressure
  • Capable of working in a project mode and handling cross-functional subjects

 

You have :

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Over 10 years of IT experience, with more than 5 years as an End-User Engineer
  • Extensive technical knowledge in End-User Computing Services, technical architecture, infrastructures, applications, and services
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Proficiency in desktop engineering and support
  • Technical expertise in:
    • Active Directory, GPO, SCCM, AD Azure, O365, and Intune
    • Protocols such as LDAP, SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, NTP, KERBEROS, RADIUS, FTP, and Secure FTP
    • Multi-Factor Authentication
    • Operating systems like Windows OS, Mac OS, iOS, and Android devices
    • Printing Technologies
    • Security tools such as Certificates, BitLocker, MBAM, Palo Alto Global Protect, Zscaler, Forescout, and Cortex
    • Scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
    • Networking (LAN & WIFI Network, IP subnetting, Routing, VLANs, Wifi, 802.1x, Client VPN, SSL)
    • Thin Client/Citrix/VMware technologies
    • Information management and data classification
    • VPNs and remote access
    • Firewalling, XDR Protection, and content filtering
    • Security policy knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with COBIT/ITIL standards
  • Fluent English language skills
