The role : 

 

CDD of 9 months from January 2026

Based in Paris 17

 

Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce & Digital Europe, as Interim Head of Projects – Ecommerce & Digital Europe you will lead the delivery of regional digital and e‑commerce projects across Europe (10 websites), ensuring operational continuity, stakeholder alignment, and the successful execution of key initiatives. You will also manage one Project Manager and take responsibility for regional partnerships, tool performance and the rollout of technical developments across our sites. You will ensure good communication between the different global, regional and local teams. (Collection of countries' needs in terms of evolution on websites and implementation of new functionalities).

 

What you’ll do:

 

Mission 1: Project Management

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of regional ecommerce and digital projects (roadmaps, milestones, resources, risk mitigation)
  • Prioritize and manage the project portfolio in close coordination with the European markets
  • Ensure rigorous release management and production readiness for launches (go‑lives, rollback plans, post‑release validation)
  • Maintain stakeholder governance: weekly status, monthly reviews and QBR inputs
  • Prioritize requests being raised by the other 3 regions as well as the global technical and Brand teams
  • Be familiar with Sales Force Commerce Cloud tool, in order to analyze the feasibility of requests and provide support to markets for existing features
  • Be in contact with the group's external partners (3rd parties), be informed of the latest innovations of our partners in order to guarantee sharing with our countries, and be informed of digital innovations in order to better advise our countries and be a force of proposal for possible future developments

 

Mission 2: Technical Rollout & Cross‑Team Communication

  • Work between the Global Brand team, Global User Experience team, Global IT support and regional technical teams to support the rollout and deployment of the roadmap of new features and technical developments on each website
  • Ensure clear, proactive communication between brand, market and technical teams to capture market needs, product constraints and operational challenges, feedback market requests into the roadmap
  • Coordinate feature acceptance testing, staging releases and market pilots; ensure readiness materials and playbooks are provided to markets
  • Ensure permanent communication with the ecommerce Europe Estore, CRM, Acquisition, Customer Care teams to gather local and regional needs
  • Coordinate and participate to global projects Business Reviews and/or Steering Committees (SVS, Bazaarvoice, Riskified, Ordergroove, Bambuser) ensuring best practice sharing and ROI optimization brainstorming

 

Mission 3: People Management

  • Management of one Project Manager: set objectives, conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and ensure development plans
  • Provide coaching and operational support to enable successful project delivery across the region
  • Ensure team workload balance and resource allocation across projects

 

Mission 4: Partnership Management & Optimization

  • Manage and optimize existing regional partnerships (third‑party UX and payment providers, UGC partners..) and pilots
  • Track partner performance, participate in negotiation of scopes and commercial terms, and ensure delivery against SLAs
  • Produce regular performance reviews and action plans with partners; identify opportunities to scale, consolidate or innovate partnerships to improve efficiency and ROI

 

Mission 5: Tools Performance, UX & Analytics

  • Monitor and optimize performance of our e‑commerce and digital tools (E‑store platform, CMS, CDP, analytics stack, tracking tags)
  • Ensure tracking integrity and data reliability across platforms (GA4, internal dashboards, partner platforms); work with Data and Tech teams to prioritize fixes and enhancements
  • Lead benchmarking on user experience, innovative on‑site features and international best practices; propose improvements with strong business rationale
  • Translate technical performance into business insights and prioritization recommendations to improve conversion and customer experience.

 

Mission 6: Innovation & Onsite Customer Experience

  • Demonstrate appetite for web technology; propose technically informed solutions that improve scalability and performance
  • Drive innovative thinking to continuously improve onsite customer experience (UX experiments, A/B testing, new feature pilots)

 

You are :

 

  • Strong project manager with proven delivery experience
  • Experienced people manager, able to develop and motivate a Project Manager
  • Analytical, data‑oriented and business‑minded with a strong sense of UX and conversion
  • Curious, solution‑driven and comfortable with technical complexity
  • Autonomous, organized and rigorous with a sharp sense of priorities
  • Intercultural awareness and collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Agile and know how to work in "multi-tasking" mode


You have :

 

  • BAC+4/5 degree from a business school or university
  • 5+ years of experience in e‑commerce/digital project or program management, ideally within a brand, retailer or agency
  • Proven experience running multi‑market projects and coordinating cross‑functional technical teams
  • Experience managing direct reports and conducting performance reviews
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce systems, release management, tracking and data fundamentals (GA4, CDP, internal dashboards)
  • Appetite for web technology and architecture; ideally knowledge of CMS and technical deployment processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize agency/technology partnerships
  • Experience delivering UX improvements, A/B testing and feature rollouts across international sites
