Responsible for translating Global brand strategy to create and support the continued growth and expansion in the UK. Devise and execute marketing campaigns, product launches, social media strategies and all customer engagement for the brand. Explore new ideas, suggest innovative solutions, work proactively to plan, execute and develop the expansion of the brand with new retail partners. Drive brand awareness and engagement within the constraints of a start-up. Build the 3-4 year business plan to grow the brand both commercially and profitably for sustainable long-term growth. Coordinate at strategic and tactical levels with key stakeholders of the myBlend global team in Paris. Be the myBlend UK champion within Clarins UK and myBlend Global.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive UK brand strategy that aligns with the global myBlend vision and values.
  • Manage the brand P&L across all aspects of the brand to ensure both Net Invoicing and EBIT targets are being met throughout the year. Report on KPIs and brand performance to senior leadership.
  • Work in collaboration with all relevant departments (Training / Sales /Merchandising and store design) to ensure they are aligned with the overall brand strategy and all plans are within budget. Deliver the best myBlend care providing a personalised service to customers.
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels. Measure campaign effectiveness and continuously optimize efforts for maximum ROI and ensure KPIs are hit.
  • Work collaboratively with the PR team to manage the @myBlendUK Instagram account and create a strategy to hit key KPIs for growth and engagement. ·
  • Work closely with external media agency and media owners to brief, plan and execute innovative and impactful campaigns for key launches within the constraints of the budget.
  • Plan, negotiate and implement all trade marketing activity with key retail partners.
  • Demand Planning and forecasting of all products and sales promo support material.
  • Manage the Pricing strategy for the UK, with regular analysis against competitors, and update the wider business when relevant.
  • Collaborate with the global product development team to ensure market insights influence product offerings.
  • Lead the commercial and marketing relationship with our main retail partners to maximize product distribution and sales.
  • Work with the Commercial Team to identify and create new commercial opportunities, work collaboratively on the prospecting/new business plan to ensure we are targeting the correct businesses to grow the brand in a profitable way and in line with the overall brand strategy.
  • Identify distribution opportunities and partnerships to increase brand awareness and strengthen brand values. Consider the commercial potential alongside the brand building potential to present an overall business case for consideration.
  • Work collaboratively with the Global team with regular meetings to ensure we are aligned on our expansion plans and feeding back on UK specific requirements.

 

YOU ARE

  • Commercially focused with a creative approach and experience in design, print, buying, copy writing and a feel for visual merchandising
  • Self-motivating and open to flexible working.
  • Able to work under pressure and keep to deadlines.
  • Passionate about the beauty industry

 

YOU HAVE

  • Proven track record in a commercial brand marketing role (10 years’ experience) and a passion for customers is a must, developed in either an FMCG or retail environment, preferably in the beauty industry.
  • Experience managing budgets and P&Ls.
  • Ability to build high quality and profitable relationships.
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written and a confident, convincing, and

experienced presenter who can communicate at all levels.
