We are looking for a Accounts Payable Assistant based in our London Head Office.
About the Job
The Accounts Payable Assistant will support the Accounts Payable Manager in the day-to-day running of the AP function at Clarins UK Ltd. You will be responsible for accurate, timely invoice processing, employee expense review and weekly payment runs using various banking platforms. Key duties include maintaining vendor master data, handling supplier queries and internal stakeholder requests, monitoring aged creditors and resolving outstanding items, and supporting controls, compliance and audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.

- A problem-solver with a proactive approach to challenges
- Organised, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Able to process invoices and expenses accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Comfortable preparing and executing weekly payment runs through banking platforms
- Proficient at maintaining and updating vendor master data and ensuring compliance with company procedures
- Able to investigate and resolve aged creditor items and supplier queries efficiently
- Capable of supporting internal and external audits with timely documentation and responses
- Customer oriented and results driven
Essential qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an account’s payable role
- Experience using ERP accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite preferred; Workday desirable)
- Intermediate Microsoft excel skills
