The role:
As Financial Controller, you will be the key finance business partner to the General Manager and leadership team, responsible for driving financial performance and ensuring strong governance across the subsidiary.
You will oversee FP&A, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls, while providing actionable insights to support business decisions and sustainable growth.
What you’ll do:
Business Partnering & Performance Management
- Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, and Supply Chain teams to support business decisions
- Deliver clear financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to drive performance
- Support pricing, investments, and new initiatives through financial modelling and business cases
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and reporting in line with Group requirements
- Own full P&L and Balance Sheet visibility, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Cash Flow & Profitability Management
- Monitor and optimise working capital (DSO, DPO, DSI) and cash flow
- Track profitability across channels, products, and customers
- Identify opportunities to improve margins and cost efficiency
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with Group policies and local regulations
- Act as the key contact for audits, financial governance, and risk management
- Partner with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and advisors
Operational Finance & Projects
- Support financial evaluation of commercial agreements and operational decisions
- Contribute to transformation initiatives, system improvements, and process optimisation
What you have:
Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, or finance business partnering
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer industries, preferably within APAC
- Strong exposure to multi-market financial analysis and regional reporting
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems (HFM, ERP, BI tools)
- Experience working with data and translating insights into business recommendations
Business Partnering
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights
- Comfortable working in a matrix and fast-paced environment
