The role:
You will support day-to-day HR operations, compensation & benefits, payroll, data analytics, and engagement initiatives. You will play a critical part in delivering high-quality HR support and operational excellence across both office and frontline teams in Hong Kong.
You will work closely with the HR Director to roll out global and local HR strategies, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support cross-functional collaboration that strengthens our employee experience.
What you’ll do:
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Support the execution of global and local HR strategies across employee lifecycle activities
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Hong Kong labour laws and internal group policies
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HR reporting & documentation needs
- Participate in monthly payroll processing and review of commission calculations and tax filings
- Act as HRIS master user, overseeing data accuracy, system improvements, and enhancements
2. Compensation & Benefits
- Support the implementation of the local C&B framework aligned with global guidelines and statutory requirements
- Conduct market benchmarking and manage employee benefits programs (medical, life insurance, MPF, wellness)
- Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and competitive offerings
3. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Conduct data analysis and business case simulation on workforce cost, headcount productivity, and scenario modelling
- Provide HR metrics and insights to support decision-making by top management
- Monitor cost-efficiency initiatives and track process improvements
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Support execution of global and local employee engagement and wellness programs
- Partner with HR Director to drive DEI and culture-building initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing/communication teams on employer branding efforts (internal & external)
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with line managers and different functions on recruitment, learning, and employee support
- Provide guidance on HR policies, day-to-day matters, and employee relations
- Keep abreast of HR trends, best practices, and changing market conditions
What you have:
- University degree in Human Resources or related field
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with exposure to both corporate and retail environments
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and payroll practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Workday or similar preferred)
Skills & Attributes
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and independent
- Collaborative, agile, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
- Digitally and analytically savvy – strong Excel and reporting skills
- Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
