Planning & Implementation:
• Develop (together with the Marketing Manager) and implement trade marketing strategies, animation and promotional plans to support sales growth and brand objectives.
• Brand Activation: Implement and Manage the execution of in-store and online marketing campaigns, including promotional events, promotional animations, product launches, and seasonal activations across retail outlets.
• Retailer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with retail partners and key accounts, collaborating to ensure optimal brand visibility and alignment with promotional calendars.
• Responsible for building a strong Top door Trade plan/calendar for specific selected doors and follow up on results.
• Responsible for In-store events Planning and Execution.
• Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to understand consumer behaviour, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the luxury cosmetics sector.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor brand activity versus competitor, roll out of marketing campaigns and to understand top doors.
Merchandising Team
• Manage visual merchandising team to ensure that brand image is reflected in store
• Merchandising excellence: Oversee the development and deployment of point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and brand visuals to ensure consistent luxury branding across locations.
• Negotiate for best possible space in all stores and online.
• Ensure all in store merchandising are aligned to the marketing objectives.
• Manage in-store eventing and animation strategy ensuring proper execution by team.
Budget Management:
• Monitor and manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation and ROI on campaigns and activations.
• Attend demand review meetings and assist Planning Team with EOL and Franchise Discontinuations.
• Reviews P and L on a monthly basis with the marketing & brand team and manage trade budget lines.
• Planning and monitoring of budget for GWP's, Displayers, POS and VM material (e.g. glorifiers).
• Responsible for giving valid forecast inputs ensure forecast is aligned with trade plan focus.
• Review product pricing strategies to ensure positioning and competitiveness is maintained.
Performance Tracking:
• Measure, analyse and report on the performance of trade marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Manage all required reporting to Regional Marketing Integrator, Merchandising Integrator and Regional Digital Integrator.
• Work on store projects as identified by the marketing, leadership and retailer team ensuring effective execution and management of the projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- South African Citizen
- Business/Marketing degree
- 3 years relevant experience in the cosmetics/luxury brands retail industry an advantage
- Strong understanding of the South African retail landscape and luxury cosmetics market.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
