The role: 

Assist in executing the Clarins UK Distribution Strategy, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to business's needs in order to optimise productivity.

 

 

What you’ll do: 

General Duties

  • To obtain instructions for the day at team briefing and follow daily operating plan.
  • To follow log in protocols to ensure safety and security of your own log in details.
  • Follow all safe working practices, including manual handling and ensuring areas are kept clean and clear.
  • Taking accountability for the safe use of any equipment ensuring it is returned in the condition it was issued.
  • Report all accidents or near misses to a member of management and ensure this is logged via the Workplace app on the electronic terminals provided.
  • To follow the process and tasks required to the department you are assigned.
  • When required to support in other departments as requested by management.
  • Making management aware of any issues with the task at hand.
  • Follow the current uniform and safety equipment guides.
  • Ensure safe placement of stock.
  • To be aware of productivity measures in place for your daily tasks, assigned department.

Facility Duties

  • Follow the current process to ensure areas are clean and clear, with refuse disposed of accordingly.
  • To follow current refuse disposal procedures.
  • Report any pests located within or without the building.
  • Use the designated equipment issued for the task and process, ensuring the equipment is returned safely to it’s designated area.
  • Report any broken equipment.
  • Restock and support facilities requirements in the offices, including replenishment of sundry items.

Counterbalance and Reach Truck Duties

  • To follow all management requests and guideance for warehouse counterbalance / reach truck tasks.
  • To maintian counterbalance and reach truck licence.

 

You have : 

  • Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence - Essential
  • Previous experience of warehouse work
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to work unsupervised. 
  • Works consistently and accurately to the required operational KPI’s. 
  • Role requires manual handling of stock and boxes.
  • Be flexible to adapt to changes in the operational demands.
  • To demonstrate an ability to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
